No pictures this time, just a funny story. Apparently the Honda Trail 55 (C105) has a bigger gas tank than a Honda Cub 50 (C100.) I didn't really think about this when I was grabbing a gas tank for Ratty. I've of course stripped the paint, gone through the patina process, and even clear coated it.
Then I realized it looked sort of big. Like taller, longer, wider. It became really noticeable because the fuel tank patina is a bit more dull than than the frame. So basically, it just sort of looks dull and big.
All of this occurred this evening, while I was sorting through the garage. So long story short, a smaller C100 gas tank is getting its paint stripped.
