A brewery I didn't know existed? And one only a couple hours up the freeway in Weed, CA? Whaaaaaat? And to top it off, a Porter I really like.
It poured very flat, but has plenty of carbonation to keep it bubbling away. It is typically dark with an almost syrup like consistency that coats the glass. It smells like a porter and tastes like a porter. It is a bit bland, but has a nice mellow hoppyness about it. That means the Mexican doesn't like it that much, but I'm enjoying it.
Having an image of Bob Marley superimposed on Mount Shasta is a nice touch.
