An Italian beer? really?
Yes, and I enjoyed it. Actually we both enjoyed it. I wouldn't call it bland, rather I would call it very smooth, and very well balanced. I'm not really sure what "type" of beer this is, but it poured quite dark, with a wicked tall head. It has a mildly sweet aroma that continues through the body. Not much hops, mostly malt flavors. The finish was smooth and subtle.
A very intriguing beer.
